Bill first entered the insurance business in 1974. In 1977 he insured his first bowling center, and the industry hasn’t been the same since. His very first job was at Bowlerland Bandera in San Antonio Texas where he learned the art of hand conditioning bowling lanes. After acquiring a Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas State University he entered the bowling business as a proprietor in a small center. The good (or bad) thing about a small center is that the owners become mechanic, dish washer, marketing executive and clean up crew. Bill is one of the few insurance agents that can insure your center and work on your A1’s or A2’s at the same time. By the time Proprietors Insurance Company (PIC) closed it’s doors in 1983, Bill and his partner Judy were well known in the industry. In mid 1982 he earned the coveted Certified Insurance Counselor designation and became a licensed risk manager. By 1989 Bill and Judy had earned the endorsement of the Texas Bowling Centers Association which they still enjoy today. They represent a number of fine insurers for a variety of lines of insurance, but most notably North Pointe Insurance Company (endorsed by BPAA and RSA) who entrusts them as their marketing arm in 10 states for Bowling and Skating Centers. Now, after 30 years of insuring the Recreation Industry Bill and Judy spend most of their time talking to and insuring our friends in the Skating and Bowling business. They still maintain a large number of commercial and personal accounts. Bill and his wife Debbie have 5 lovely children and 3 grand children and are active in the community and insurance industry.
